Goddess and the Baker
Goddess and the Baker is the perfect environment for getting work done, relaxing, and everything in between. The high ceilings give an air of life but the darker toned colors give a cozier feeling. Just in case you wandered in and don’t know what’s going on, there’s a big neon sign that reads, “EAT NOW, caffeinate.”
They have so many treats for you to peruse through so don’t feel rushed into a decision. But with anything you order, you won’t be disappointed. Goddess and the Baker offers a good range of hearty foods as well as sweets. The soups are always a great go-to on a cooler day and you can easily add a grilled cheese to it. We recommend the Chicken Tortilla or Matzo Ball Soup. Pair it with the Kale Apple Cooler, and you are ready to go!
The desserts can be overwhelming in their beautiful spread. If you’re trying to decide between a cupcake or slice of cake, get the slice because then you get way more! Goddess and the Baker has a deliciously moist carrot cake with plenty of cream cheese frosting.
They also offer a gorgeous rainbow cake that is bound to make you gasp when you lay your eyes on it. (Okay, maybe it’s an internal gasp to keep yourself composed but we all do it!
Goddess and The Baker is located conveniently in the Loop and with one bite, it will easily make it to the top of your list as it did ours.
