Cochon Volant Brasserie

Bienvenue! Cochon Volant Brasserie presents a deliciously decadent breakfast, lunch, or dinner with a French twist. Peruse the menu and your eyes will feast on ingredients like gruyere, pastrami, brioche, and pork belly.

When dining at Cochon Volant, expect both a great meal and quick service–making it an ideal spot to visit when you don’t have much time to spare, but still crave awesome food.

The restaurant’s ambiance is absolutely perfect; for a blissful moment you are transported to the streets of France, escaping the worries of your present-day reality and losing yourself in the presence of your wholesome company and the delicious food in front of you.

During any visit, Escargot is a must. Delectably prepared with snail butter, blue cheese and croutons, the dish boasts a savory combination.

My personal lunchtime favorite is the Smoked Pastrami Dip. Loaded with so much pastrami that it falls out of the side, you may find it challenging to take the first bite. The warm dip accompanying the sandwich softens the house-made bread, giving it a tender and juicy consistency. An unforgettable touch was the giardiniera on the side that allows you to give  your sandwich a spicy kick. In the event that the sandwich isn’t filling enough on its own, fries are an option with any dip.

While it may be a safe pick, another one of our favorite sandwiches is the Bonjour BLT. It was generously packed with thick slices of bacon and avocado to balance. This sandwich is a safe, guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

If you’re shooting for something lighter, opt for the Smoked Whitefish Avocado salad. It provides a delicate mixture of fish, avocado, herbs and a touch of fresh lemon vinaigrette.

While our visit to Cochon Volant was during lunchtime, they also serve up some tasty breakfast and dinner. If you find yourself there in the morning, try their scratch made waffles or a savory omelette. If there in the evening, check out their dry aged beefs or truffle pasta.

Before leaving, be sure to ask about their desserts. If you’re a chocolate lover, order the chocolate mousse as the perfect way to end your dining experience at Cochon Volant.

Bon Appetite!
