3 Arts Cafe

Upon entering the historical building, you are welcomed by a strong-minded statue of a woman. A courtyard sits in the middle with comfortable seating for people that wish to dine there. A glass ceiling protects any loungers from the elements, though you can still feel the nature aspect with plant-life and sunlight surrounding you

3 Arts Cafe is melded into the Restoration Hardware House (RH Chicago), a luxury furniture store at 1300 N. Dearborn. There is both a restaurant and a small cafe for treats and coffee. Since they sell furniture and every space is used for display, visitors can virtually lounge anywhere they’d like to work or relax with a cup of coffee and a sweet treat from the Doughnut Vault.

Here’s a meal we suggest. For a starter are the Slow-Roasted Beets. It had kale and goat cheese topped off with a sesame vinaigrette. Not only did it taste amazing (and who knew beets could be so good!?) but the colors were so vibrant.

For the main dish, we suggest the Truffled Grilled Cheese and Bacon Club. They are both so rich and fresh, and well, earthy! The grilled cheese has the perfect proportion and isn’t overloaded with cheese. The bacon club has avocado (need I say more? Okay, I will) and a garlic aioli. Their french fries are perfectly crisp!

Whether you’re waiting for a table or go after eating, a walk around the rest of the Restoration Hardware House is a must. You are bound to be inspired by the decorating!
